City Physician to give first aid attendance and medical attention, eta. to any employee of the city who is injured while in the perfarnanoe of \��+~ his duties or Is Laken suddenly ill by unusual exposure or over ezertion, without any additional oompensation therefor- was given its passage upon call of the roll by 4 yeas. on motion of Member Marton. a Resolution making It a part of the duties of the (�I4 City Solicitor and Asst. City Solicitor to defend any action brought against any employee �l,aA 1� of the city on his official bond involving a cause of action growing out of the per formanos or attempted performance of his official duties, without any additional charge for such services- was given its passage upon cell of the roll by 4 yeas. On motion of Mayor Burns, a Resolution oondemning slot meohinea and all gambling devices and games, and ordering the Chief of Police to notify all operators of same to oases operating befbre Feb. 19, 1917- was given its passage upon call of the roll by 4 yeas. $. On motion of Member Washington, that the condemnation snit of the City of (Paduesh ve Barnes for right of way fbr a street from Meyare street thru the Sysrrill- 1 V �pG&NAA< King Lbr. At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah. Ky., on Feb. 19th, 1917. upon call of the roll bhe following answered their namest Burns, Gardner, Graves, Barton and Washington- 6: on motion of Member Gardner, the minutes of a regular meeting held on Feb. 12th. 1917 were adopted as read upon call of thi roll by 6 yens. On motion of the above, the minutes of a special meeting he X on February 16th were adopted us read upon oall of the roll by the following votes Yeas. Burne. Gardner. Marton and Washington- 4. Lays Graves, 1. x on motion of the above, the minutes of an adjourned meeting bald on February , 16th were adopted to read upon call of the roll by 6 yeas. On motion of the above, the minutes of a special meeting held on Feb. 16th sere adopted as read upon call of the roll by the following votes Yeas. Burns, Gardner. Marton and Washirprton- 4. Nay: Graves, 1. On motion of Member Marton, that the report of collections for the improvement f 6th street, by the construction of concrete sidewalks, eta., be received and filed. and the amount oolleoted, to -wit: ,4,E69.OZ. be paid to Prosser 6 Halliday as per , S' �.. contract- also that bonds be printed to the amount of $E,170.89, and same delivered to !j iq� t �T~v the above contractors. and that the Auditor be instructed to turn over to sold Prosser 6 Halliday the tic uncollected bills amounting to #U2.96- carried upon call of the roll by 6 yeas.'.
