HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 26, Page 8, January 24, 1967s Proceedings of Board of Commissioners _ City. of Paducah_ January 24, 1967 At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on January 24, 1967, Mayor Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg that the reading of the Minutes for January 17, 19(-•7 be waived and that the Mindtes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk he approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Resignation Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, Terry Joe 13auermeiste that on recommendation of the City Manager the following personnel changes be made: Enr. Dept. 1. The resignation of Terry Joe Bauermeister, chairman in the Engineering Brooks Dune, ✓ Department, be accepted, effective January 15, 1967. Parke & Rec 2. Robby Sweatt be employed as chainman in the Engineering Department, Employ effective February 1, 1967. Bobby Sweat Eng, Dept 3. The resignation of Brooks Dunoy, basketball supervisor in the Parks & Recreation Department, be accepted, effective January 13, 1967. Claud Haws Parks & Rec, 4. Claud Haws i;e emploved as basketball supervisor in the Parks & IFile contra Clifford of Vermont traffic cab. ILiability Ed Downs &. ILiability In Harper & Grav e Report 1966 LiabilityIns, solomon Const Recrdation Department, effective January 16., 1967, at a salary of $10.00 per night. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Furyear and Mayor Wilson (5). Commissioner Kressenberg offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Johnston , t a the Certificate of Insurance issued by The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York to J. 14. harper d/b/a Harper A Gray and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for a period of one year from January 1, 19(7, be received, approved and filed. Solomon d/b/a Solomon Construction Company and the City of Paducah, Fentucky, for a period of one .ear from January 1, 19( 1-a received, approved and filed. Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and Interstate Material Supplies, Inc., for sale to the City of Traffic signals and traffic signal controller be received and filed. Liability Ins .1� Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that Leslie A Feasts the Certificate of Insurance issued by National Surety Corporation to Leslie A. Feast et al and the City of Paducah, Kentucky for a period of one year from January 1, 1967. be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5).
