At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on May 23, 1967, Mayor Wilso presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commission- ers Johnston, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4), Commissioner Kressenberg absent. Mayor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for May 16, 1967 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas. Commissioners Johnston, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4). Petition Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear that enforce dog ordinance the petition signed by numerous residents of the Forest Hills area requesting enforce- ment of the city ordinance which requires dogs to either be chanied or penned, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4). Petition I Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear that Sycamore Dr. one-way St the petition signed by Mr. and Mrs. John F. Adopted on call IIi of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4). 1 i Deed from Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear that they Urban Renewal Fire Station Deed dated December 12, 1966, from the Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency Site of the City of Paducah, Kentucky to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, conveying Parcel 3A,I i Block 1 (Proposed Central Fire Station site), which has been recorded in Deed Book 486, page 594, McCracken County Court Clerk's oa,fice, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4). Audit-Paduca Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that Airport Corp. ✓ the annual audit report of Paducah Airport Corporation for the year ended December 31, 1966, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4). Sell grave Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the Rushing Add William Pryox Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to William Pryor of the northeast corner of Lot No. 373 in Block No. 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to executa a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Board of Commissioners City of Paducah May 23, 1967 Sell grave in Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the Rushing Addition Mrs. Helen Taylorj' Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Mrs. Helen Taylor of the northeast corner of Lot No. 373 in Block No. 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said ii cemetery grave. File motion of Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that a Library Board old library site certified copy of a motion adopted by the Board of Trustees of Paducah Area Public Library on May 10, 1967, requesting the City Commission of Paducah to execute and deliver a quit -claim deed from the City of the old library site to the Board of Trustees of Paducah Area Public Library, be received and filed. Request bids on Commissioner Johnston offered motion that a resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION tires REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH ITS REQUIREMENT OF NEW AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK TIRES FOR THE PERIOD OF TIME FROM AUGUST 1, 1967 TO JULY 31, 1968", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4). Agreement ICRR ✓ CommissLoner Paxton offered motion that a Resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION sewer line AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, i KENTUCKY, AN AGREEMENT WITH ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY, GRANTING PERMISSION TO SAID CITY TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A CERTAIN CONCRETE SEWER PIPE LINE UNDER THE TRACKS AND PROPERTY OF SAID RAILROAD COMPANY", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4)'. Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Mayor Wilson, that an ordinance entitled entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF PADUCAH AREA PUBLIC LIBRARY, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, CONVEYING ALL RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST OF SAID CITY IN AND TO A TRACT OF LAND AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF 9TH STREET AND BROADWAY IN SAID CITY", be adopted.
