Plant At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Bommission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on January 10, 1967, Mayor Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberr, Paxton, Purvear and Mayor Wilson (5). Mayor Wilson offered motion,seconded by Commissioner Johnston that the reading of the Minutes for January 3rd and 6th, 1967 he waived and that the Minutes of said meetinrs prepared by the CityClerk he approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Purvear and Mayor Wilson (5). Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberp that on recommendation of the City Manager the followinp!'personnel changes be made: 1. The resignation of Fred D. Maxie, collector in the Refuse Division of the Public Works Department, be accepted,effectile December 27, 1966. 2. Harrel F. Smith, maintenance man in the sewage disposal department be promoted to chief operator in said department, effective Jan. 16, 1967. 3. Carl C. Crafton, maintenance man in the floodwall department, be promoted to maintenance man in seware disposal department, effective Jan. 16, 1967. Jill McIntoski 4. The salary of Jill McIntosh, part time temporary clerk -typist in Floodwall Salary Inc. department, he increased to $35.00 per month, retroactive to Jan. 1, 1967. T.A.Osborne ' 5. Thomas A. Osborne he employed as Housing Code Officer, effective January Housing Code 16, 1967, at a salary of $395.00 per month. officer Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Accept Sewer ,-e Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear as follow; extensions as completed Upon recommendation of the Proiect Consultinp Engineer and the City Engineer, I move Contract A - 19E5 that the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept as completed the proiect for Contract A 1965 for the construction of sewerage extensions, :which contract was entered into on October L, 1965 by and between the City of Paducah, Kentucky and E. A. Sullivan, Inc., said acceptance subiect to the contractor's liability in respect to faulty material and workmanship and the contractor's guaranty period o f twelve (12) months as appears in said contract. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberi Paxton, Puryear and ilayor 11ilson (5). Transfer Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded 1-v Commissioner Paxton as follows Cemetery pro arty to Mrs. I move that the transfer from Mary B. Wirth to Lillian Blake of four (4) grave spaces Liliian F.lal< on the west end of Lot 7 in Plock E in Oak Grove Cemetery he approved, and that the City Clerk he authorized to make the proper transfer on the Cemetery Register. I further move that a copy of the Affidavit of Descent sinned by Mary Polton 1•1irth be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Puryear and 14avor 11ilson (5). Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Furyear as follow: Lease land t % I move that a Resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND TCC Piarine Service, Inc CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE TO TOC MARINE SERVICE, INC. A LEASE TO CERTAIN LAND BORDERING ON THE PANT{ OF THE TENNESSEE RIVER", he adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenherp, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Milson (5).
