Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Purvear and Mayor Wilson W. Commissioner Paxton being absent (1). I Mayor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for March 21, 1967 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4). Employ Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg Claud Hutchinson Fire Dept as follows: On the recommendation of the City Manager, I move that the following App Candidate personnel changes he made: Bobby Cargill Bobby Buchan 1. Claude Hutchinson be employed as Applicant -Candidate in the Fire Department, Switchboard effective April 1, 1967, provided by such time he furnishes, at his expense, a Operators satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition, including an electrocardiog Fire Dept i . 2. The following perzons be employed as switchboard operators in the Fire Department, Thomas Calhou�/ ' effective April 1, 1967, at a salary of $320.00 per month, such positions not being Parks u under civil service: Rudy Davenport Bobby Cargill part-time I Bobby Buchanan Patrolman Parks 3. Thomas Calhoun be employed as laborer in the Parks & Recreation Department, effective Terminate April 1, 1967, at a salary of $1.75 per hour. Russell Shaw Public Works 4. The position of Rudy Davenport, lat,orer in the Parks & Recreation Department, be changed to part-time patrolman in said Department, effective April 1, 1967, at a Floodwall salary of $1.75 per hour. Temp Fump Oprs / Sam R Dedrick!I 5. The employment of Russell Shaw, street repairman in the Public Works Department, be Charley Bowerman terminated, retroactive to January 30, 1967. 6. The following persons he employed as temporary pump operators in the Floodwall Department, at a salary of $1.75 per hour, retroactive to March 25, 1967: Sam R. File contract' Commissioner Kressenberg offered motion that the executed copy of the Whayne Supply] Crawler loadei Contract between the City of Paducah and Whayne Supply Company, for sale to the city of one 1967 Caterpillar crawler type loader, be received and filed. Nayor sign Commissioner Purvear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Johnston, that Workable Prop am Thomas W. Wilson, Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be authorized to sign, on behalf of said City, Form HUD -1082 (A Review of Progress Under The Workable Program For Community Improvement), and that a copy of same be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Puryear and Mayor 'Wilson ( ) Approve transle. commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, Cemetery lot to Wm. V Ackei that the Board of Commissioners approve the transfer from H. L. Judd to William V. Acker of the West one=half of Lot No. 23 in Block No. L4 in Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to make the proper transfer on the Cemetery Register. March 28, 1967 Annex property+ Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that North Corporate I/Commissioner Limits an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE PROPOSING ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING ADJACENT TO THE NORTH CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, DEFINING ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY OF THE TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED, AND DECLARING THE DESIRABILITY AND NECESSITY OF SUCH ANNEXATION", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4).
