Commissioner Jol-nston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, as
follows: I move that William L. Rutter he suspended from both pay and duty as
Finance Director (whic), position is also known as City Treasurer) of the City of
Faducah, Fentuek•,, effective immediately this 16th day of February 1961, pendin-
trial on the Statement of Chanes preferred arainst him before the Civil Service
Commission of the City of Faducah, Kentucky, on the 14th day of February 1967, this
suspension from pay and dut^ heinR upon the Around that the board of Commissioners
of the Citv of Paducah, Kentuckv, Ias probable cause to believe that said 'rtilliam L.

Commissioner Faxton offered motion, seconded b�, Commissioner Furvear, as
follows: I mo -e that P. D. Sills, the City Assessor of the Citv of Faducah, Fantucky,
be hereby appointed as Acting Finance Director (to be known also as Actinr City
Treasurer), and that he he hereby vested with full poser, autbority and responsibilit;
imposed 'v law and ordinance to act as City Treasurer of the Cite of Paducah, said
appointment to he effective immediately this l(th day of February 1967, and upon
his execution of the bond or `-onds required by lair, and to remain in effect until
furtYer action of this board, and said appointment is to be in addition to bis ocher
duties as Cit- Assessor and at no additional .compensation. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Paxton, Purvear and I-'ayor Wilson (4).
