Fines I-oad At a Called Yeetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the Citv Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 5:00 P.M. on December 27, 1963, Mayor Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the followinr, answered to their names: Commissioner; Fendley, Hornsby and Mayor Cherry (3), Commissioners Gholson and Karnes being absent (2) Mayor Cherry offered motion that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 5:00 P.M. on December 27, 1963, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby and Mayor Cherry (3). Mayor Cherry made the following appointment: Pursuant to KRS 173.340, I hereby appoint Rev. H. J. Simpson as a member of the Board of Trustees of Carnerie Public Library, to fill out the unexpired term of Rev. W. B. Casey who has resigned. Said unexpired term expiring on June 1L, 1964. Mayor Cherry made the following appointment: Upon provision of KRS 100.430 I hereby appoint David F. Sallee as a city member of the Board of Adiustment, City P1 and Zoning. Commission, for a term expiring August 16, 1967. Commissioner Fendlev offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the reports of the Paducah Water Works be received and filed, and that the following checks be turned over to the City Treasurer to be deposited in the proper accounts: Refuse collections for November, 1963 $9,905.75 Sewer Service Charges for November 1963 9,342.00 Pad Refuse accounts collected during November 18.00 Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsbv and Mayor Cherry (3). Commissioner Fendley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby that the petition of Ernest Lee Allcock and his wife, Lucilla Allcock, for permission to make one 3A inch connection to the existing 1i inch water pipe line extending alonr Lackey Street, in McCracken County, Kentucky, and outside the corporate limits of the City of Faducah, Kentucky, and known as the Schneidman Road Slater Line No. 2, for the purpose of supplying domestic water service to one residence only by received and filed, and that the permission petitioned for be rranted, subject to the terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby and '-:aver Cherry (3). Commissioner Fendley offered the following motion which was seconded by Commissio, er Horns�,t: James R. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas Commissioners Fendlev, Hornsby and Mayor Cherry (3). / Commissioner Fendley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby that the cls of Richard Gordon, Ritz Hotel, Paducah, Kentucky, in the sum of $950.00 for injuries received by him, on or about February 2, 1963 because of an alleged sidewalk condition near 23rd Street and Kentucky Avenue be allowed; and that the Treasurer issue check on the city in said amount to the said Richard Gordon and his attorney, David Reed, after securing a full and complete release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioner, Fendley, Hornsby and Mayor Cherry (3). Ion Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that the s �petition of Leonard 14. Spears and his wife, Opal Spears, for permission to make one 3/4 inch connection to the existing lr inch privately owned water pipe line located in Rutter Street in McCracken County, Kentucky, and outside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentuckv, known as the Schneidman Road Plater Line No. 2, for the purpose of supplying domestic water to one residence only on property they own be, received and filed, and that the permission petitioned for therein be granted, subject t the terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby and Mayor Cherry (3). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that i exonerations prepared and delivered by the City Treasurer being numbered 734 thru 800, inclusive, be received and filed and that the amounts of same totaling $41,971.26 be exonerated on the tax bills shown and designated by said expnerations. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby and Mayor Cherry (3). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that the ( Eoard of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to D. L. Reapportionment, j Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley', that an Crdinance 1963 YY Ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE STATEMENT OF ANTICIPATED REVENUE OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR THE YEAR 1963; REVISING AND AMENDING THE APPROPRIAPION OF THE PUBLIC FUNDS, REVENUE AND INCOME ON HAND, AND COLLECTED AND TO BE COLLECTED IN SAID YEAR; AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF UNUSED APPROPRIATIONS FOR ONE PURPOSE TO ANOTHER PURPOSE; 14AKING SUCH TRANSFERS; APPROPRIATING AVAILABLE REVENUES NOT INCLUDED IN THE BUDGET FOR SAID YEAR; FIXIIdG THE APPORTIONMENT OF THE PUBLIC FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSES SPECIFIED THEREIN; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", be adopted.
