HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 25, Page 9, February 4, 1963Proceedings of Board of Commigsioners Cly of Paducah February 1',_1963 At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber f the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 5:00 P.M. on February 4, 1963, Mayor Cherry resided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners endley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (5) Mayor Cherry offered motion that the executed copies of the Notice of Called ieeting to be held at 5:00 P.M. on February 4, 1963, be received and filed. Adopted on all of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry 5). Water Company Commissioner Gholson offered motion that the Report of Audit of Paducah Water Audit Reports Works for the fiscal ,year ended October 31, 1962, be received and filed. Adopted on ca of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (5). Certification Commissioner Hornsby offered motion that the copy of the letter of the City Clerk to Board of Education addressed to the Board of Commissioners dated February 1, 1963, together with the copy of the letter written by her on the same date to Dr. Newman Walker, Superintendent of the Board of Education of the City of Paducah, and a copy of her certification as to the total value of all property in the City of Paducah subject to taxation in the year 1963, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (5). Sell grave in Commissioner Hornsby offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the Rushing Add.',✓ Doris Trivis' sale by the City of Paducah to Doris Trivis of the southwest corner of Lot No. 1,02 in Block No. 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the Citv Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Myre, dated January annexation 10, 1963, requesting that the property owned by Dr, and Mfrs. Myre located on the Pines Road be annexed to the City, be received and filed. Mayor Cherry offered motion that the liability insurance policy issued by The Aetna Youngblood p Fib. 7x Heating Casualty and Surety Company to the City of Paducah, covering work done by Youngblood Supply Co Plumbing d: Heating Supply Company for a period of three (3) years from February 27, 1963, I be received, approved and filed. Feast and the City of Paducah, Yentucky, for a period of one year from January 1, 1963, be received and filed.
