Return E.J.Rope Folicy to r Wcedall-Melton Police Feport Cc;. 29E3 At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chambe of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on November 12, 1963, Mayor Pro Tem Gholson presided in theabsence of Mayor Cherry, and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Pro Tem Gholson (4). Mayor Pro Tem Gholson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for October 22 and November 1, 1963 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of theRoll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby, Karnes and. Mayor Pro Tem Gholson (4). Commissioner Fendley offered motion that the petition of Mrs. Janie Riles, and her husband, Rex Riley, for permission to make one 3/4 -inch connection to the existing li-inch privately owned water pipe line located in Rutter Street, and known as the Schneidman Road Water Line No. 2 for the purpose of furnishing domestic water service to one residence only on Lot No. 140 in the Utterback-Hell Addition to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, fronting on Rutter Street in McCracken County, Kentucky, and outside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed, and that the permission petitioned for therein be granted, subject to the terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Pro Tem Gholson (4). Commissioner Fendley offered motion that the Certificate of Insurance issued by the Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York to LaVerna Littleton d/b/a Littleton Plumbing & Heatinr Repair Service and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for a period of one (1) year from November 1, 1963, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Pro Tem Gholson (4). Commissioner Fendley offered motion that the hid submitted by Peter Pirsch & Sons Company for hydraulic system and ladders for the aerial ladder truck of the City of Paducah, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby, Karnes and Mavor Fro Tem Gholson (4). Commissioner Hornsby offered the following motion: I move that the letter from Woodall. and Melton dated November 5, 1963, requesting that liability insurance policy No. MI.297437 issued by the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company to E.J.Hopor be returned to them for cancellation, be received and filed. i Since it appears frcm a memorandum from the Director of iublic Works that the Insurance poliev is no longer required of Mr. Roper, I move that the City Clerk be a-ithorized to return to Vradail '' Melton for cancellation the above numbered policy w'-I':s was filed this Eoard on November 1, 19(,3. Black d/b/a Ray Black & Son, increasing said Bond from 51000 to $2000, be received, approved and filed. Liability Ins.•/ Crawford Const Mayor Fro Tem Gholson offered motion that the Certificate of Insurance issued by Co. The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York to Crawford Construction Company, for a period of one year from October 1, 1963, be received, approved and filed. Increase Salar:� Mayor Pro Tem Gholson offered motion that the salary of Martha Lou Sargent, Martha Lou a Sarcent temporary employee in the Finance Office, be increased from $190.00 to .$210.00 per month retroactive to November 1, 1963. File copy Resolution Mayor Pro Tem Gholson offered motion that a certified copy of a Resolution Paducah Jr. adopted by the Board of Trustees of Paducah Junior Collece, McCracken County, Kentucky, College at a meeting• held on October 31, 1963, and Exhibits A and B attached thereto, be received and filed.
