Jham`er of the City Hall, Faducah, Kentucky, at 11:30 A.M. on September 21, 1963, Mayor
Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:

A"avor Cherry offered motion that the executed copies of the Notice of
Called P=:eetinF to be held on September 21, 1963, be received and filed. Adopted on ca.

Mayor Cherry made the following appointments:
Subiect to the approval of the Board of Commissioners, I hereby appoint the
following persons to the Housing Board of Appeal provided for by ordinance adopted by
the Board of Commissioners on 1.7av 12, 1959:
Will Ford for a term of one year
Trov Clark for a term of two years
Georre Packer for a term of three vears
John Bohanon for a term of four years
George E. Beiderwell for a term of five years
Commissioner Fendley offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve t
action of Robert C. Cherry, Mayor, in making the followinP appointments to the Housing
?oard of Appeal:
Will Ford for a term of one year
Troy Clark for a term of two years
Georpe Backer for a term of three vears
John Bohanon for a term of four years
Georre E. Beiderwell for a term of five vears

Commissioner Fendlev offered motion that the reports of the Paducah 'dater
Works he received and filed, and that the following checks be turned over to the
City Treasurer to be deposited in the proper accounts:
Refuse collections for August, 1963 $9,852.25
Sewer Service Charges for August, 1963 9,880.00
Aad Refuse accounts collected during August 13.80
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes
and T'ayor Cherry (5).
Commissioner Gholson offered motiom that the resignation of Walter Smith,
a laborer in the Refuse Division of the Public 7orks Department, effective as of
1 12:00 Noor. on September 20, 1963, be received, accepted and filed. Adopted on
i call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor
Cherry (5).
ien Commissioner Hornsby offered the following motion: I move that the deed
i' from H. R. Owen and others, dated Aurust 27, 1963, and of record in Deed Book 449,
pare 199 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office, conveying land in Leiberman
Addition for public alley purposes, which has been recommended by the Paducah -
McCracken Count- Flanninr Commission, be received, approved and filed. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and
Mayor Cherry (5).
Commissioner Karnes offered motion that the Certificate of Insurance issued
by United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company to the City of Paducah, covering
work done by Presley Plumbing and Heating Company for a period of one year from
September 23, 1963, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendlev, Gholson, Hornsby, I'arnes and !.'ever Cherry (5).
