Mayor Cherry offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for June 11 and June 20, 1963 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be lapproved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendlev, Gholson i Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (5) Petition St. II Mayor Cherry offered motion that the petition signed by Mr. & Mrs. H. 0. Lester and light 3233 L�. Spring st. others reeuestine a street light in front of the residence at 3233 Spring Street (River Oaks), be received and filed. Sell Grave in l' Commissioner Fendley offered the following motion: I move that the Board of Comm - Rushing Add. to Tom, Charles issioners approve the sale to Tom, Charles and Eldred Winborn of the north one-half of &; Eldred ''!inborn Lot No. 20 in Section 2 in the Mausoleum Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery for the sum of X220.00. I further move that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a Deed of Conveyance to said cemetery lot. Clint Cunnirp,- Commissioner Karnes offered the following motion: It appearing that Clint ham, Captain. Fire Dept Cunningham, a Captain in the Fire Department of the City of Paducah is scheduled for Extend Employment retirement from said department on June 30, 1963 under the terms and provisions of an ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of said City on March 13, 1963, and has requested by letter that his employment as such be continued, and that such continuation has been recommended by Ed Turner, Chief of said Department,- I now therefore move that this Board declare that continuation of such employment will be for the best interest of said City, and that such employment be continued until mid -night on the 31st day of December, 1963 unless terminated prior to such time by operation of law.
