Chy of Paducah_._ December 6, _ 1966 _ 1 At aRegular Meetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on December 6, 1966, Mayor Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll the followinr answered to their names: Commissions s Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Purvear and Mayor Wilson (5). Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the reading of the Minutes for November 29, 1966 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Waive Rules Mayor 'Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that the of Procedure Order of ? Rules of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky as to the Order Business 1J of Business be waived for the sole and specific purpose of providing that, before the introduction of petitions or the transaction of any other businedd, that a public hear In! be conducted on the matter of proposed increases in the occupational license taxes and the payroll tax, which proposed increases were suggested and public hearing announced at the last previous meeting of this Board. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Employ Donald Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that Chalk laborer Parks 1a Rec. '' on the recommendation of the City Manager the following personnel change be made: 1. Donald Chalk be employed as temporary laborer in the Parks and Recreation Department, effective December 16, 1966, at a salary of $1.63 per hour. Report Police Commissioner Kressenberr offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Johnston, that Dept. November 19F6 the report of the Police Department for the month of November 1966, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5), / Request bids Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that Relief Sewers Contract ICo 1. a Resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF RELIEF SEWERS, CONTRACT NO. 1", be adopted. Adopted or call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberr., Paxton, Puryear. and flavor Wilson (5).
