P—eedingsof .__noard of_Commissioners ._ City of Paducah_— ._-5eptemb.er_6.,_1966 .__ At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on September 6, 1966, Mayor Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: I Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner KressenberF, that the readinp, of the Minutes for August 30, 1966 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetir prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, i Commissioners Johnston, KressenberF, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). James D. Vi Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, Lha F, umph re v Resignation on the recommendation of the City Manager, the followi.np personnel changes be made: Loree Cawthon 1. The resignation of James D. Humphrey, temporary laborer in the Street transferred Division, be accepted, effective August 31, 1966. to Refuse f, 2. Loree Cawthon, temporary laborer in the Street Division, be transferred to the Refuse Division, retroactive to September 1, 1966, at a salary of ?1.63 per hour. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear ! and Mayor Wilson (5). File Lease Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the Capt. John B: Ritchie, Sr, executed copy of the lease between the City and Captain John B. Ritchie, Sr. be received) and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, i Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). File contract Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton that W.H.Yancy Street the executed copy of the contract between the City and W. H. Yancy Fc Sons Asphalt Paving Paving Company for the paving of various streets, together with the Performance Bond and Insurance Certificate executed by said Company, he received, approved and filed. i Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear ; I and Mayor Wilson (5).
