Mayor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for June 28, 1966 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetinr prepared by the City Clerk he approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton,. Puryear and Mayor :Milson (5). Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberp, that the bid.of Paducah Recappinp. Service for the sale of automobile and truck tires to the City of Paducah, be received and filed. Odus Ray Smith be employed as temporary laborer in the Street Division, effective July 16, 1966. 3. James Kenneth Martin be employed as temporary laborer in the Street Division, effective July 16, 1966. 4. Rodney Adams be employed as temporary laborer in the Refuse Divisiony effective July 16, 1966. 5. Lynn Boyd Jones be employed as temporary laborer in the Refuse Division, effective July 16, 1966. 6. Gaylen Fike be emploved as temporary laborer in the Parks and Recreation Department, retroactive to July 11, 1966, at a salary of $1.63 per hour. 7. Michael Lee Chance be employed as temporary laborer in the Parks and Recreation Department, retroactive to June 29, 1966, at a salary of $1.25 per hour in Class C. F. Tennis Court Surface Sealer 42G Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH RECAPPING SERVICE FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH ITS REQUIREMENT OF NEW AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK TIRES FOR.THE PERIOD OF TIME FROM AUGUST 1, 1966 TO JULY 31, 1967, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE", be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1).week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
