Plant Poard 'f emplcy `ff Auditors j �I Y i {f� i� __ _ _ City of Paducah June 28, 1966_ At a Regular Meetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on June 28, 1966, Mayor Milson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Jmhnston, Kressenbera, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). Mayor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for June 14th, 16th and 21st, 1966 be waived and that the Minutes of said Meetings prepared by the City Clerk he approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberr, Paxton, Purvear and Mayor Wilson (5). Commissioner Johnston offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenbere, that the salaries of the part-time Housing Code Inspectors be increased from $1.50 per hour to 41.65 per hour, effective July 1, 1966. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Purvear and Mayor Wilson (4), Commissioner Paxton voted "No". Commissioner Kressenberr offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Johnston, that Randolph E. Keith, presently employed as a Housing Code Officer in the Inspector' Office, be promoted to the position of Housing Code Officer and Assistant Building Inspector at the base salary of $390.00 per month, effective July 1, 1966. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberr, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor 4ilson (5). Commissioner Kressemberg offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Johnston that the Certificate of Insurance issued by The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York to W. C. Yancy & John Yancy d/b/a W. H. Yancy & Sons, for a period of one year from July 22, 1966, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, 'leas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberr, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor :Milson (5). Commissioner Paxton offered motion,seconded by Commissioner Puryear as .follows: On the recommendation of the City Manager, I move that the foll.owinr personnel changes to made: 1. Charles Marsalis be employed as a patrolman in the Police Department, effective July 1, 1966, provided by such time he furnishes, at his expense, a satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition, including an electrocardiogram. 2. Roscoe E. Holt be employed as mechanic in the Parks and Recreation Department, effective July 1, 1966, at a salary of 12.13 per hour. 3. Richard Rudy Davenport be employed as park guard in the Parks and Recreation Department, retroactive to June 25, 1966, at a salary of ":190.00 per month. IN THE AMOUNT OF $57,324.30 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE EXTENSIONS FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, CONTRACT C-1966, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY, A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH CONTRACT", be adopted.
