HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 25, Page 412, June 21, 196610 Proceedings of_ _ Poard of ioners City.[ p ducah June 21, 1966 No. 412 At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on June 21, 1966, Mayor Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (5). I Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberp, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 700 P.M. on June 21, 1966, be received and.filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberp, Paxton, Purvear and Mayor Wilson (5). Employ -St. Division Commissioner Kressenberp offered motion,seconded by Commissioner Johnston Loree Cawthorn - Billy J. Farmer as follows: On the recommendation of the City Manager, I move, that the following James D. Humphrey, btartin L. Overby personnel changes be made: Employ -Refuse Division 1. The following four (4) persons be employed as temporary laborers in the Street James W. Blark/,, Jr. Division of the Public Works Department, retroactive to June 16, 1966, at a salary of $1.63 per hour: Employ -Assessor's U. Patricia Wallis Loree Cawthorn Billy J. Farmer Parks & Recreation: James D. Humphrey Parris E. Bynum Martin L. Overby Lynn Marie Young , Jimmy J. Stroud 2. James W. Blair, Jr. be temporarily employed in the Refuse Division of the Public Works Department, retroactive to June 16, 1966,,at a salary of $;1.63 per hour. Parks & Recreation Resignations 3. Patricia Wallis be employed as temporary clerk in the Assessor's Office, effective Jim Voirht June 27, 1966, at a salary of $210.00 per month. Phyllis Paul 4. Parris Evan Bynum be employed as recreation supervisor in the Parks and Recreation Department, retroactive to June 16, 1966, at a salary of $1.25 per hour in Class C. 5. Lynn Marie Young be employed as recreation leader in the Parks and Recreation Department, retroactive to June 16, 1966, at a salary of $1.00 per hour in Class A. 6. Jimmy J. Stroud be employed as substitute basketroom attendant in the Parks and Recr;a- ation Department, retroactive to June 16, 1966 at a salary of $1.00 per hour in Class A. 7. The resignation of Jim Voipht as recreation supervisor in the Parks & Recreation Department be accepted. 8. The resignation of Phyllis Paul as recreation leader in the Parks & Recreation Department be accepted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenbere, Paxton, Purvear and Mayor Filson (5).
