At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the Citv Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 3:30 P.M. CDT on May 5, 1966, Mayor Wilson

Mayor Wilson offered motion that the executed copies of the Notice of Called

filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg,
Paxton, Purvear and Mayor Wilson (5).
Deed of Correction
Commissioner Johnston offered the following motion, which was seconded by

Commissioner Kressenbere. Upon receipt by the City Clerk of a deed of conveyance from
Kruger C. Kin, and wife, Mable King, to the south one-half of Lot No. q in Block No. 1
in Oak Grove Cemetery, I move that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized,

Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the
following bids for clothing for the Police Department be received and filed:•

Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton that the
bid of Preston Chemical Company for sale to the City of liquid Ras chlorine be received
and filed. (A bid of Hoe Supply Company was received after the time published for
the opening of bids).

ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY TREASURER
TO TRANSFER THE SUIM OF $15,567.84 FROM THE CONTINGENT FUND ACCOUNT OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF.CARNEGIE PUBLIC LIGRARY", be introduced and remain
.on file for at least one (1) week for.public inspection in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passare.. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Johnston, Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (4), Commissioner Kressenberg
voted "No".
Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, as follows:
I move that the rules of this Commission be suspended and that the City Clerk be
instructed and directed to cause publication to be made as required by law, one time
in the PADUCAH SUN DEMOCRAT, one time in THE COURIER -JOURNAL, a newspaper published in
the City of Louisville, Kentucky; and of general circulation throughout the State of
Kentucky, and one time in THE BOND BUYER, a periodical of general circulation along
bond issue purchasers, of a "Notice of Bond Sale" calling for bids for the purchase of
$200,000 of City of Paducah School Building Revenue Bonds, dated Ajay 1, 1966, in the
form attached hereto, that the Board of Commissioners approve the form of the "Official
Terms and Conditions of Sale of Bonds" in the form attached hereto, to be distributed
to any interested bidders, in connection with the�sale of said Bonds, such bids to be
received until May 24, 1966, at 7:45 P.M. Central Daylight Time, and that only those
kids he considered for the purchase of said Bonds that are submitted on "Bid Forms"
supplied by the City Clerk, a copy of which Bid Form is attached hereto. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Johnston, Kressenberg, Paxton, Puryear and
Mayor Wilson (5). Mayor Wilson declared the motion carried.
On motion the meeting adjourned.
