Mayor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the reading of the Minutes for March 22 and April 7, 1966 be waived, and that the Minutes of said meetinrs prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Paxton, Puryear and Mayor Wilson (3). Resignations Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear as follows: Rudell Thompson Police Dept On the recommendation of the City Manager, I move that the following personnel changes ;' Patrick Grant/ be made: i Fire Dept. 1. The resignation of Rude 11 Thompson, patrolman in the Police Department, Tommy Clark be accepted, effective March 28, 1966 Refuse Division 2.. The resignation of Patrick Grant, fireman, be accepted, effective April 1, Employ 1966 Louis Johnson James W. Morris- 3. The resignation of Tommy Clark, laborer in the Refuse Division of the Cemetery Dept Public Works Department, be accepted, effective April 2, 1966. Employ Kenneth 4. Louis Johnson and James W. Morris be employed as temporary laborers in the Crawford Cemetery Department, at a salary of $1.63 per hour, effective April Recreation Dept 16, 1966. 5. Kenneth Crawford be employed as.general supervisor in the Recreation Department, at a salary of 4230.00 per month, effective June 1, 1966.
