At a Called Meetinp of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 1..:1;5 P.M. on December 2, 1965, Mayor Wilson
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their, names: Commissioner:
Hornsby, Kressenberr, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (4), Commissioner Davis being absent.
Mavor Wilson offered motion, seconded by Commissioher Hornsby, that the executed
copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 1::45 P.M. on December,?., 1965,
he recei-ed and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby,
Kressenberr, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (1,). .
11 Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Parrott that the
City Manaper be, and he is hereby, authorized to notify Burns & McDonnell Engineering
Company in writing, as to when to commence their services under Parapraph 18 of Section
3 of their current proposal and contract for engineering services in connection with the
desipn of storm Nater relief improvements. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commission
Hornsby, Kressenberp, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (4).
Commissioner Kressenberp offered motion that the report of the Police Department
for the month of November, 1965, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Kressenberp, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (4).
Commissioner Parrott offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that
the City Manaper be, and he is hereby, authorized to lease the City Parking Lot on
South 2nd Street to A. D. Sills on a month to Month basis, for the sum of :25.00 per
month, payable in advance. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby,
Kressenberp, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (4).
Commissioner Kressenberp offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Parrott, that
a Resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDSI
FOR 1000 FLET OF 2j -INCH FIRE HOSE FOR USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH
FENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE TER14S AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICIi SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE

Commissioner Parrott offered motion, seconded by Commissioner FressenberF,
that an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF WILLIAMS,
WILLIAMS AND LENTZ, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, TO MAKE AN AUDIT OF THE ACCOUNTS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND ALL CITY OFFICERS FOR THE YEAR 1965 IN CONSIDERATION OF THE
PAYMENT TO THEM OF THE SUM OF $3,000.00", be introduced and remain on file for at leas
one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby,
Fressenberr, Parrott and MayorWilson (4).
On motion the meeting adiourned.
