Mayor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for September 16, 1( and 23, 1965 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners. Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberr, Parrott. and Mavor Wilson (5). Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby as follows: On recommendation of the Citv•Manarer, I move that the following personnel appointments and chances be made: 1. Robert T. Wentworth he employed as a patrolman in the police department at i the beginning salary of $321.00,per month, effective October 1, 1965, pro- vided by such time he furnishes, at his own expense, a satisfactory medical report as to his phvsical condition, including an electrocardiogram. f 2. That the emplovment of Mrs. Vickve Brian as a clerk -typist in the finance I./ department, he changed to that of machine operator therein at a beginning salary of $250.00 per month, effective October 1, 1965, such employment not being under civil service. 3. That the employment of Mrs. Marguerite Hayes as a clerk in the finance department, be changed to Clerk -typist No. 2 therein, at the base salary of $230.00 per month, such employment not being under civil service. 1. That the employment of Mrs. Frances Ham as a temporary clerk in the finance department, be changed to that of Clerk -typist No. 2 therein, effective retroactively to September 15, 1965, at the starting salary of $210.00 per month, such emplovment not being under civil service. 5. That the emplovment of Willie N. Hester and William DePriest 'Watkins as temporary assistant sanitors he changes to assistant janitors, effective October 1, 1961, at no change in salary, such positions not heing under J civil ser -ice. 6. _'rat, the emplovment of the followirc- seasonal cemetery laborers be terminated as of Septent.er 30, 19L1: Louis .Johrson 1 ,James Morris I Rankin Reynolds Harols K. Sell crave in, Commissioner Hornsbv offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the Board Rushing Add t Sledd Funeral tl/of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Sledd Funeral Home of the Home southwest corner of Lot No. 381 in Block No. 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk he authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsb., IIKressenberg, Farrott and Mayor Wilson (5). I File contract Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the Littleton, In / House service; executed copy of the Contract between the City and Littleton, Inc. for the construction lines on Fark' Avenue of house service lines on Park Avenue from 32nd Street to Allen Lane, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberp, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5). Rent house Commissioner Kressenberg offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Parrott that the Stuart Nelson) Fark to Eureni residence house at Stuart Nelson Park be rented to Eueene Arnold at the rental of $25.0 Arnold per month, effective October 1, 1965, with free utilities furnished. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberg, Parrott and Mayor Wilson �I (5). Liability Ins' Commissioner Kressenberg offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Parrott that the Presley Plumb! ing & Heatin7 Certificate of Insurance issued by United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company to the Co. City of Paducah, covering work done by Presley Plumbing & Heating Company, Inc., for a period of one (1) year from April 19, 1965, be received, approved and filed.
