Appoint Civic.{/ Mayor Wilson made the following appointments: Subject to the approval of the Beautification Board Board of Commissioners, I herebv appoint the following as members of The Civic Beautifica4on Board for terms expiring duly 5, 19FE.: Mrs. W. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsrv, Kressenherr and Mayor Wilson (L), Settle Claim ✓ Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the Jimmy Hutchens claire of Jimmy Hutchens, 1928 Hendricks, against the Citv in the amount of $47.88 for damares to his •chicle, by a City refuse truck, on or about Aupust 12, 1965, be allowed; and that the Treasurer pay said claim after securinr a full and complete release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsb , Kressenberr, and Mayor Wilson (4). I Liability Ins. Accept bid The Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that a Kentuckv Company 8400,OOb Bond Resolution entitled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, Issue "Industrial KENTUCKY, ACCEPTING THE SUCCESSFUL BID ON $400,000 OF CITY OF PADUCAH INDUSTRIAL BUILDING Buildinr" REVENUE BONDS, DATED AUGUST 1, 1965", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberp and Mayor Wilson (4). Water Works Bond Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an Issue $2,8°0,000.00 ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SAID CITY'S 'WATER WORKS IMPROVEMENT AND REFUNDING REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1965" IN ORDER (A) TO DEFRAY THE COST (NOT OTHERWISE PROVIDED) OF CONSTRUCTING CERTAIN EXTEN- SIONS, IMPROVEMENTS, ADDITIONS AND ENLARGEMENTS TO THE MUNICIPALLY OWNED WATER WORKS OF SAID CITY, WITH ALL EXPENSES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, AND (b) TO REFUND AT A LOWER NET INTEREST COST CERTAIN PREVIOUSLY ISSUED AND OUTSTANDING BONDS WHICH ARE PAYABLE FROM THE REVENUES OF SAID r4UNICIPAL WATER WORKS; PROVIDING FOR SEGREGATING, INVESTING AND SECURING, AN AMOUNT SUFFICIENT TO PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT (WHETHER AT MATURITY OR BY REDEMPTION) OF SUCH PREVIOUSLY ISSUED BONDS; PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION, SEGREGATION AND DISTRIBUTIjON OF THE REVENUES OF SAID WATER WORKS; PRESCRIBING AND SETTING FORTH CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS PURSUANT TO WHICH SAID CITY MAY ISSUE IN THE FUTURE ADDITIONAL REVENUE BOND PAYABLE FROM THE REVENUES OF SAID WATER WORKS, AND RANKING ON A BASIS OF PARITY WITH THEj I PONDS AUTNOP.IZED BY THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN ADVERTISED, PUBLIC COMPETITIVE SALE OF THE BONDS HEREBY AUTHORIZED", be adopted.
