Proceedings of Roard of miseioners City of Paducah Anril 9, 1963
At a Regular MeetinEr of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on April 9, 1963, Mayor Cherry
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:` Commissioners
Fendley, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (4), Commissioner Cholson being absent (1).
Mayor Cherry offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for March 26 and
April 2, 1963 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk
be approved as::written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley,
Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (4).
Water connectAn Commissioner Fendley offered motion that the petition of Ronald E. Farker and wife
Schneidman Rd
Parker Johnnie Lou Parker, for permission to make one 3/4 -inch connection to the existing 3 inch
privately owned water pipe line located on Schneidman Road, for the purpose of furnishing
water to one residence only at 4015 Schneidman Road in McCracken Countv, Kentucky, and
outside the corporate limits of the Citv of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed,
and that the permission petitioned for therein be granted, subject to the terms and
conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley,
Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (4).
Water connection Commissioner Hornsby offered motion that the petition of Hilda K. Weitlauf for
Schneidman Road
deitlauf t,,eermission to make one 3/4 -inch connection to the existing 3 inch water pipe line located)
on Schneidman Road, for the purpose of furnishing water to one residence only upon
property located at 3911 Schneidman Road in McCracken County, Kentucky and outside the
corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed, and that the
request petitioned for therein be granted, subject to the terms and conditions in said
petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby, Karnes
and Mayor Cherry (4).
Liability Ins. V Commissioner Hornsby offered motion that the Certificate of Insurance issued by
Ellis Pr.
1norAson, Inc. The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York to Ellis g Thomason, Inc. and the City

of Paducah, Kentucky, for a period of one year from April 1, 1963, be received, approved
and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby, Karnes
I and Mayor Cherry (4).
File contract Commissioner Karnes offered motion that the executed copy of the Contract between
King -Woodall I-
pelice cars the City of Padueal. and Kine -Woodall Motors, Inc. for sale to the City of Four 1963
Fords, for use in the Police Department, be received and filed. Adopted on call of
