At a Called Meetinr of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 5:00 P.M. on May 14, 1965, Mayor Wilson
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commission-
ers Davis, Hornsby, Kressenbero, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5).

Mayor Wilson offered motion/that the executed copies of the Notice of Called
Meeting to be held at 5:00 P.M. on May 14, 1965, be received and filed. Adopted on
call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberg, Parrott and Mayor
Wilson (5),
Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, as
follows: I move that the letter of B. Cowles Mallory, City Manager, to this Board
dated May 10, 1965, outlining certain public works projects for 1965 be received and
filed. I further move that such proiects be approved and that the City Manager schedule
a program for the performance of same. Adopted on call of theRoll, Yeas, Commission-
ers Davis, Hornsby, Kressenbero, Parrott and Mayor 'Wilson (5).
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the
City Treasurer be, and he is hereby, authorized to advance Carnegie Library the sum of
$10,000.00 to be charred to its portion of the tax levy for ad valorem taxes. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberg_, Parrott and Mayor
Wilson (5),
Commissioner Parrott offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, that
the executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and Emulsified Asphalt
Company for sale to the City of its requirement of asphalt for the year 1965, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby,
Kressenhero, Parrott and Mavor Wilson (5),
Commissioner Y,ressenhert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Parrott,
that a Resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR PRELIMINARY LOAN I
FOR LOW -RENT PUBLIC HOUSING", be adopted. Adopted an call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Davis, Hornsby. Kressenberg, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5).
