Commissioner Kressenherr offered motion,seconded by Commissioner Parrott as follcts:
I move that 71rs. Jean Doul -las he temporarily employed as machine operator in the Finance
Department of the City of Paducah, at a salary of 1:1.25 per hour, retroactive to April 7
10'r. Such employment is temporary and no civil service riPhts or other rights under an -
law or ordinance shall ve covered by this employment. Adopted on call of the Roll,

follows:
In connection with the proposed extension of water service by the PaducahWater
Works into the area called the Old Cairo Road -Concord -West Paducah vicinity, I move
that the following documents he received and filed:
.1. Letter of H. B. Gibbons, Director of Paducah, dater ltorks, dated April
6, 196r to the Mayor and Commissioners.
2. Copy of the Resolution adopted by the Commissioners of Water Works of
Paducah on March 297 19ry:, relative such extension..
3. Preliminary report of Edward.T. Hannan Fr. Associates, Inc. Consultinr;
Snrineers, as to such extension.
1 further more that this Board approve the aforesaid preliminary report, and
further move that this Board does herehv authorize said Paducah Water Works to provide
water service to the area covered and set out in the aforesaid preliminary report.
