city of Paducah February 16, 1965
At a Special Meetin, of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Cha
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at A:30 o'clock P.M. on February 16, 1965, Mayor
Nilson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Davis, Hornst-v, Kressenberr, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5).
Mayor Wilson offered motion that the agreed certificate of the Mayor and
Commissioners declaring the present meeting to be a duly assembled and legal one, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby,
'Kressenterr, Parrott and Mayor 'Wilson (5).
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner F,ressenherp, as

follows: I move that B. Cowles Mlallory of Lewistown, Pennsylvania, be appointed and
employed as City Manarer of the City of Paducah, Kentucky; effecitve March 24, 1965, at
an annual salary of $12,500.00, less any salary that may be paid to him as a member of
the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah.
I further move that the moving expenses incurred by Fir. Mallory in moving to
Paducah to paid by the City of Paducah. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioner
Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberr, Parrott and Mayor Wilson (5).
Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an
ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WHAYNE SUPPLY COMPANY, INC. FOR
THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW CASE ASSEMBLY FOR A CATERPILLAR IN THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON
WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST", be adopted.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Hornsby, Kressenberr, Parrott

Yavor Wilson offered motion that this meeting of the Board of Commissioners be
ad4ourned until ':30 P.M., February 25, 1965, to be held in'the Commission Chamber or.
