At a Called Meetinc of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentuckv, at 7:30 F.M. on October 27, 1964, Mayor Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll the following* answered to their names: Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberc and Mavor Wilson (5). Mayor Wilson offered motion that the readings of the Minutes for October 13, 1964 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, ssenber� and D"avor Wilson (5). Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Andrew Foree of the southwest and southeast corners of Lot No. 387 in Block No. 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of con% to said cemetery craves. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberr• and Mavor Wilson (5). Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that the Bond of J. M. Harper, doing business as Harper & Gray, in the amount of $1,000.00, dated October 14, 1964, be received, approved and filed. Pond Bobbv Butle Commission Fendley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the Bond Concrete Con- tractor of Bobby Butler d/b/a Bobbv Butler Concrete Contractor, in the amount of $2,000.00, r dated October 26, 1964, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor Wilson (5). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg, tha the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Idillie Muse of the southeast corner of Lot No. 29 in Block No. F of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery;, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery crave. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby✓, Kressenberr and Mayor Wilson (5). Commissioner Kressenberr offered the following motion which was seconded by Commissioner Hornsby: Upon recommendation of Ray Joseph, Assistant Director of Public Works, I move that Osie Jones be temporarily employed as a laborer in the Refuse Division of the Public Works Department, at a salary of $1.5L per hour, retroactive to October 16, 1964. Such employment is temporary and no civil service rights or other) rights under any law or ordinance shall be covered by this employment. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenbera and Mayor Wilson (5).
