HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Book 25, Page 157, August 25, 1964Proceedings of Board of Commissioners No. 157 City of Paducah August 25, 1964 II At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on August 25, 1964, Mayor Wilson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioner Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor [Nilson (5). Mayor Wilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for August 11th and 18th, 1964 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor 'Wilson (5). Mayor sign Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendlev that Thomas W HHFA Form Workable Wilson, Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be authorized to sign, on behalf of Propram & file same said City, HHFA Form H-1082 (A Review of Progress Under The Workable Program For Community Improvement), and that a copy of same be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor Wilson (5). Liability Ins Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that the Reliable Adv' Company I Certificate of Insurance issued by United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company to sidewalk L/ benches Reliable Advertising Company, covering advertising benches placed on the sidewalks in the City of Paducah, for a period of one year from July 11, 1964, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberp and Mayor Wilson (5). Settlement Commissioner Fendley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis that the Refuse & Sewer reports of the Paducah Water Works be received and filed, and that the following checks my 1964 be turned over to the City Treasurer to be deposited in the proper accounts: Refuse collections for July, 1964 $10,047.70 Sewer Service Charges for July, 1964 9,499.50 Pad Refuse accounts collected durinr July 5.40 Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor Wilson (5). Liabilitv Inst Commissioner Fendley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the Presley 'lb. Ji Heat. Co. Heatinr Company for a period of one year from 2eptemher 23, 1964, be received, approved and filed.
