Mayor Wilson offered motion that the readinr of the 7".inutes for June 23, 1964 be waived and that the ?:inutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, F:ressenberr and 7'a --or Wilson (5) . CommissionerDavis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that the Board of Commissioners approve the transfer from Mrs. Delia Rudolph and others, of :rs. 1.:arcie Fooks, to George F. Runge, Jr, and his wife, Nina leae Runge, of a portion the north one-half of Lot No. 230 in Section No. 15 in Oak Grove Cemetery. He further moved that the City Clerk be authorized to make the proper transfer on the Cemetery Rerister. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberr. and 2•Iayor 11ilson (5) . Commissioner Fendlev offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis, that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Mrs. Beulah Dumas of the Southeast and Southwest corners of Lot No. 389 in Block No. 6 of the Rushinr Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of con- veyance to said cemetery graves. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberr and Mayor Wilson (5). Commissioner Fendley offered the followinn motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis. Upon the recommendation of U. L. Rutter, City Treasurer, I move that Mrs. Clara Baker be employed as clerk -stenographer in the Finance Department, at a salary of :$230.00 per month, with a step raise at the end of six months to $240.00, such employment being effective retroactively to July 1, 1964, except that during said month of July hlrs. Baker is to work only half days at a salary of $115.00, and further that said employment is not under civil service. Commissioner Fendlev offered the following motion, seconded by Commissioner Davis: Upon recommendation of Ray Fayse, Director of Public Works, I move that Filly Gene Beaslev ^e temporaril,• employed as a laborer in the Refuse Division of the Public Works Department, at a salary of 51.35 per hour, retroactive to June 16, 1964.
