Payor Wilson o£fVed motion that the readinr of the Minutes for February 11, 1964 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor Wilson (5). Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that the letter of Paul Holland, Chief of Police, pertaining to the promotion of Robert and James Smith, he received and filed. Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, Seconded by Commissioner Kressenberg that Robert Dotson Timmons be employed as Mechanic's Helper in the Street Division of the Public Works Department,at a salary of $1.65 per hour, effective March 1, 1964. Such employment not being under civil service.
