At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on February 12, 1963, Mayor Pro Tem
li Gholson presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby and Mayor Pro Tem Gholson (3), Mayor Cherry and
Commissioner Karnes being absent (2).
Mayor Pro Tem Gholson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for January

I22 and February 4, 1963 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the
City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners

File Budget,_ Commissioner Fendley offered motion as follows: In connection with the Board of

of Educationl Education Tax Rate for 1963, 1 move that the following be received and filed:
1. Copy of Minutes of the Board of Education Meeting of February 4, 1963,
relative to the Special School Tax Rate of 50¢.
2. Copy of Resolution of the Board of Education of February 4, 1963, relative
to the Regular School Tax Rate and Poll Tax.
3. Copy of the General Budget for 1963 of the Paducah Independent School
District.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Hornsby and Mayor Pro Ten
Gholson (3).
Sell lot V Commissioner Hornsby offered the following motion: I move that this Board
Oak Grove to,
t.xs. Martha approve the sale to Mrs. Martha Ellis Tucker of the west one-half of Lot No. 6 in Block
Ellis Tucker.'
No. 1 of the Mausoleum Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery for the sum of $1120.00.
I further move that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance
to said cemetery lot. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley,
and Mayor Pro Tem Gholson (3).
