'avor 'lilson offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for January 14, 196, be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby �Kresserbere and i":ayor Wilson (5). Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that the petition of Charles Boyd and others, requesting the change of Terrell Street to i' ort'r:view, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberg and Mayor Ulilson (5). li. :- Commissioner Davis offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fendley, that the Flat;•: 8: Heat:., 'a Certificate of Insurance issued by State Automobile Mutual Insurance Company to Billy Joe Blackford d/b/a Blackford Flumbing & Heating Company, for a period of one year from Fe'ruary 1, 196.4, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Davis, Fendley, Hornsby, Kressenberr and Mayor Wilson (5). Commissioner Davis offered the following motion which was seconded by Commissioner Fer-dlev; I move that the report of Paducah -McCracken Development Council, wur.cii Inc. dated January 27, 1964, to the Mayor and Board of Commissioners concerning the future of higher education in Paducah and vicinity, be received and filed. I further move that the Corporation Counsel be, and he is hereby, directed to prepare for sutnission to this Board, a Resolution approving said report and adopting the findings N hereof as a policy of the Legislative Body of the City of Paducah. Settle Civil Commissioner Kressenbere offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, ✓that -":7;s the offer of G. FI. Luton and Joseph J. Grace, his Attorney, to settle McCracken ity of1aducah Circuit CourtCivil Action No. 5735 of G. M. Luton v. City of Paducah, for the sum of .^820,00 be accepted, and that the Treasurer pay said amount to the said G. M. Luton and his Attorney, Joseph J. Grace, after securing the proper release for all damages and a proper dismissal of said law suit.
