At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on December 11, 1962, Mayor Cherry
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (4), Commissioner Fendley beinP absent (1).
Mayor Cherry offered motion that the reading, of the Minutes for November 27, 1962
be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved
as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes

Liability I s / Commissioner Gholson offered motion that the Certificate of Insurance issued by
Tilford Plb. &�✓
Heating Cc The Great American Insurance Company to Louis E. Tilford for a period of one year from
September 8, 1962, also Bond of Louis E. Tilford d/b/a Tilford Plumbing & Heating Company
in the amount of $2,000.00 dated November 28, 1962, be received, approved and filed.

Settle Claim VI Commissioner Gholson offered the following motion: I move that the Claim of
Alton E. Nanny
Alton Eugene Nanny (Route #1, Melber, Ky.) against the City in the sum of 125$.94, for
damages to his motor vehicle by a police vehicle of the City, on October 29, 1962, at
10th and Kentucky Avenue, be allowed; and that the Treasurer pay said claim after
securing a full and complete release. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (4).

Sell grave Commissioner Hornsby offered motion that the Board of Commissioners approve the
Rushing Additin
Henrietta sale by the City of Paducah to Henrietta Jackson of the southeast corner of Lot No. 403
Jackson
in Block No. 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk
be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on call

E. J. Roper in the amount of 11,000.00, dated November 29, 1962, be received, approved
