Committee -names
Submitted
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 12:00 Hoon on April 28, 1962,
Mayor Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their
names: Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and I•Iayor Cherry (5).
Mayor Cherry offered motion that the executed agreement for a special
meeting of the Board of Commissioners to be held on April 28, 1962 at 12 o'clock
noon, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Cherry (5).
Mayor Cherry offered motion that the following names be submitted for the
Paducah Growth Committee, as recommended in the Fantus Report:

Clyde Peel, Jr.
Louis Bradford
Gus T. Smith
James Rieke
Frank Paxton
George Crounse
W. Pelham McMurry, County Attorney
Robert C. Cherry, Mayor
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes
and h;ayor Cherry (5).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
