Board of Commissioners City of Paducah Parch 131 1962 At a Regular 11eeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.1'. on I`arch 13, 1962, Itayor 'harry presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Comnissioners Fendle , Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and 14ayor Cherry (5). Mayor Cherry offered notion that the reading of the lIinutes for February 27 and :arch 6, 1962 be waived and that the liinutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerl: be approved as uritten. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, holson, Hornsby, Karnes and r;ayor Cherry (5). I Settle Claim Commissioner Karnes offered motion that the claim of John Vanmeter, 1937 Madison. John Vanneter Street, Paducah, Kentucky, for damages to his motor vehicle, by a refuse truck of the City, near 17th and Broadway, on or about January 22, 1962, in the amount of :'4.22 be allowed; and that the Treasurer pay said claim after securing; a full and complete release Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and r•:ayor V_harry (5). Final payment r':ayor Cherry offered motion that the check of the Bishop of Owensboro in the Riverside Hospital amount of $16,973.17 as final payment of the purchase price of Riverside Hospital be accepted as the final payment on the hospital, and that the check be delivered to the City Treasurer. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson, Hornsby, Karnes and Iayor Cherry (5).
