Proceedings of Board of Commissioner City of Paducah— January 20, 1962
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission chamber
of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:00 P.M. on January 20, 1962, Mayor Pro Tem
Gholson presided in the absence of Mayor Cherry, and upon call of the Roll the following
answered to their names: Commissioners Fields, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Pro Tem
Gholson (4), Mayor Cherry being absent (1).
Mayor Pro Tem Gholson offered motion that the executed copies of the Notice of
Called Meeting to be held at 7:00 P.M. on January 20, 1962, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fields, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Pro
Tem Gholson (4).
Order concer g Commissioner Karnes offered motion that a Resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION

Police Dept. AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING AN ORDER CONCERNING THE MEMBERS OF THE POLICE DEPART14ENT OF
circulating
petitions THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AND OTHER EMPLOYEES", be adopted. Adopted on call of
the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fields, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Pro Tem Gholson (4).
Deliver copyi Commissioner Karnes offered motion that a copy of a resolution entitled, "A
Resolution
to Chief of RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING AN ORDER CONCERNING THE MEMBERS OF THE POLICE
Police
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AND OTHER EMPLOYEES", which was heretofore
on this date adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, be immediately
delivered to Rulie Elliott, Chief of Police of said City. Adopted on call of the
roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fields, Hornsby, Karnes and Mayor Pro Tem Gholson
On motion the meeting adjourned.
