Grit Equipt file contract Letter from i Mrs. Cooper Youth Pro,ram F.C.Still Representati city 27 At an Adjourned Regular :•ieeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Comm- ission Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 1:30 P.;:. on April 15, 1959, Mayor Jacobs presided and upon call of the moll, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Fendley, Gholson and Mayor Jacobs (3), Commissioners Fairhurst and Hook being absent (2). Commissioner Fendley offered motion that the petition of Huie Keeling and his wife, Lorine Keeling, for permission to make one 3/4 -inch connection to the existing privately owned water pipe line of the Husbands Road Community .Dater Company for the purpose of furnishing water to one residence only upon a lot owned by petitioners fronting 182 feet on the south side of Homewood Avenue in i'cCracken County, Kentucky, b, received and filed and that the request petitioned for therein be granted subject to th, terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of.the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson and Mayor Jacobs (3). Commissioner Fendley offered motion that the petition of Ralph :•Iood and his wife Julia ?good, for permission and authority to make one 3/4 -inch connection to the e::istin 6=inch cast iron water main owned by Paducah 'dater '•forks so as to furnish water to one residence to be constructed upon Lots 2 and 3 in Block "A", in Stigall Heights Sub- division, fronting 140 feet on the east side of High Street in i:cCracken County, Kentuc and outside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and file and that the request in said petition be granted in accordance with the terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson and Mayor Jacobs (3). Commissioner Gholson offered motion that the executed copy of the Contract betTuce the City and !'talker Process Equipment, Inc, for the furnishing and installation of certain grit removal equipment for the Sewage Disposal Plant, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson and I•tayor Jacobs (3). Commissioner Gholson offered motionthat the letter from Mrs. Freddie Cooper, President, '7omans missionary Union of Twelfth St. Baptist Church, expressing appreciati and interest in a youth program in the City of Paducah, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fendley, Gholson and ;:ayor Jacobs (3). Mayor Jacobs offered motion that a Resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COAIIa'ISSIOVERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AUTHORIZING F. C. STILL, DIRECTOR OF OPAL DEFENSE, AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY TO SIGII AaY DOCUi•u'.ITS RE- QUIRED BY THE DIVISION OF PROPERTY:'UTILIZATION FOR THE SELECTION' Ai?D RECEIPT OF DONABL- SURPLUS PROPERTY FRO;i.TH-_ FEDERAL GOV1'FC7r:i!T", be adopted.
