Jacobs presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5).
Mayor Jacobs offered the following motion: I move that the Notice
of Called Neeting to be held at or about 5:20 P.M. on April 8, 1959, which notice
has been executed by the Mayor and all Commissioners, be received and filed. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and
Mayor Jacobs (5).
Commissioner Fairhurst offered motion that ah ordinance entitled:
"Aid ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: ?AN ORDINANCE RELATING
TO AND FURTHER REGULATING THE GRANTING OF LICENSES FOR SELLING, DISPENSING AND
DEALING IN ALCOHOLIC AND RST BEVERAGES IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; PRESCRIBING
THE ELIGIBILITY OF APPLICANTS FOR LICENSE; LIMITING THE NUMBER OF LICENSES TO BE
ISSUED AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS REGULATING THE NUMBER; PRESCRIBING THE PENALTY
FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREI'1ITHI, WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
ON JANUARY 16, 1951", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Fairhurst-, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5.)':
On motion the meeting adjourned.
