h At a Called fleeting of the Board of Cormnissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 5:00 P.id. on August 23, 1954, Iayor
i Pro Tem Jacobs presided in the absence of i-ayor Cherry and upon call of the Roll the
following answered to their names: Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Riggs and Mayor
Pro Ter_ Jacobs (4).
Pay GusAf Commissioner Hannin offered motion that the statement from Thomas J.
Harris t
Hospital Nolan & Sons in the amount of ;)$,753.10 for services rendered by Gus Harris, also
the letter from the Paducah I•Iunicipal Hospital Commission by its Chairman, approving
the payment of said account, be received and filed, and that payment thereof be
approved and the City Treasurer be directed to pay same from funds in the Riverside
Hospital Building account. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Hannin, Hughes, Riggs and Mayor Pro Tem Jacobs (4).
Pay Thos. Commissioner Hughes offered motion that the statement of Thomas J. Nolan
J. I; olan
Hospital & Sons in the amount of y1,500.00 which represents Payment Request #5 due for
services rendered in connection trith alterations and additions of Riverside Hospital,
also the letter from the Paducah Nunicipal Hospital Commission by its Chairman,
P approving the payment of said account, be received and filed, and that payment
thereof be approved and the City Treasurer be directed to pay same frora funds in
the Riverside Hospital Building Account. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Corvmissioners Hannin, 'Hughes, Riggs and iayor Pro Tem Jacobs (4)
Coruaissioner Riggs offered motion that the Board of Commissioners

Casualty Company protecting the City of Paducah with respect to work done by Elvin
Cooper d/b/a Cooper's Plumbing Company for a period of one year from I•tarch 27, 1954•
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes, Rigors and Aiayor
Pro tem Jacobs (4).
