Payer Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for July 8, 195 i be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approve t as written. File ContractCommissioner Fairhurst offered motion that the Contract between the City Petter-fire a' hose "/ of Paducah and Henry A. Petter Supply Company for the sale to the City of 1,000 feet of 2A inch fire hose be received and filed. Federal Aid Commissioner Fendley offered motion fiat this Commission ratify the action Grit Collec`or TreatmentI of the Mayor in filing application for a Federal grant under the Federal :'later Pollution Plana Control Act of 1956 in the amount of ;2,229.00 which represents 30;5 of the total cost of a project consisting of the construction of a grit collector for the sewage treatment and disposal plant of the City of Paducah. Bad refuse Commissioner Gholson offered motion that the check from Paducah ;Mater Works accounts June 1958 in the amount of 6.40 for bad refuse accounts collected during June 1958 be turned I over to the City Treasurer to be deposited in the General Fund.
