Mayor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for March 15, 1958 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approve as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and Mayor Jacobs (5). Water connec- Commissioner Fendley offered motion that the petition of Charles Edward Hovekam `ion Husband Road - C.E. and wife, Frances Evelyn Hovekamp, for permission to make one 3/4 inch connection to th Hovekamp privately owned water pipe line of the Husbands Road Community Water Company for the purpose of furnishing water to one residence only upon a lot owned by petitioners fronting 100 feet on the East side of Husbands Road in McCracken County, Kentucky, outside the corporate limits of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed and that the request petitioned for therein be granted subject to the terms and conditions in said petition. Garnett sum of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) against the City for injuries received by her on or about December 14, 1957, because of a fall on a sidewalk on the northside of Broadway �I between 3rd Street and 4th Street, be allowed and that the City Treasurer be and he is hereby authorized to deliver to her a check for said amount after obtaining a complete release signed by her.
