Deccm er 1i J7 •. d At a Regular heating of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 8:30 A.% on January 11, 1958, Nayor Jacobs nrosided and upon call of the Roll the followring answered to their names: Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and 14ayor Jacobs (5). Nayor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the iUnutes for January 4, 195 be waived and that the Idinutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approve as written. Adopted on call of the Poll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Pook and Mayor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Fairhurst- offered motion that Commissioner Kaley ]look be nominate and appointed [:ayor Pro Tem. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, Hook and i•[ayor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Fairhurst offered motion that the Certificate of Insurance executed by Globe Indemnity Company of New York to Ohio Valley Terminix Corporatoon and the City of Paducah, be received, approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendley, Gholson, [look and Kayor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Fendley offered motion that a letter dated December 31, 1957, addressed to ::ayor George Jacobs and Commissioners, from Ilrs. 9lilliam J. Langan, Corresponding Secretary of the I1cCracken County Humane Society, expressing thanks for the interest shoti:.,n in the projects of the Society during the years be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fairhurst, Fendlcy, Gholson, Hook and [payor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Fendley offered motion that the letter dated January 2, 1953 addressed to b:ayor George Jacobs, from J. Homer holland, Administrative Assistant of the Paducah-IcCracken County Health Department, expressing thanks to the City Co Lmission for the work done during the year, be received and filed.
