Dr. Ccborne : rciat-,ct Mouthside to 'Icn001 At a Regular :.octing of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber of the City Rall, Paducah, Kentuckj, at 8:30 A.M. on December 21, 1957, Mayor Jacobs presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Clark, Lally, ilcBride and Mayor Jacobs (4), Commissioner Trevathan being absent (1). 'ayor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the 6:inutes for December 14, 1957 be waived and that the Minutes ofsaid meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approved as :xitten. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, ::cBride and :ayor Jacobs (4). Commissioner Clark offered the following motion: I move that the operation and control of the dog shelter near 6th 2: Terrell Streets in Paducah, Kentucky be continued under the supervision and operation of McCracken County Humane Society, Inc. and further move that there is, and there is hereby, allowed and allotted to said society the sun of,`'750.00 payable from Accounts Nos. 4440 and 4479 for such operation for the months of January, February, Narch, April, May and June 1958, payable by the Treasurer in monthly payments of .j125.00 which shall be used by said society for paymen of all expenses incurred in the operation of the shelter, including but not limited to ,•razes, salaries, food and supplies. adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride and Mayor Jacobs (4). Commissioner Clark, offered motion that a copy of a motion adopted by the Civil Service Commission at a meeting held on December 19, 1957, certifying Darwin Lee Reed, James Dempsey Unite and 'Jilliam Joseph Kolb as eligible for the position of Chainman- Rod:man in the Engineering Department, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the 'oil, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride and Mayor Jacobs (4). Commissioner Lally offered motion that the letter addressed to Mayor George dated December 20, 1957, from Joseph B. Mullin, Chairman of the Riverside Hospital Commission, concerning a nursing Training Program at Riverside Hospital, be received and filed, adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, i;cBride and ::ayor Jacobs (4).
