Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, IlcBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Lally offered motion that the petition of J. D. Smith and his wife, :Lary Lou Smith, for permission to make one 3/4 -inch connection to the one inch privatel) owned water pipe line located on Nelson Street for the purpose of furnishing crater to one residence only upon Lot No. 63, in Utterback-Bell Second Subdivision and fronting 50 feet on the south side of Nelson Street in :cCracken County, Kentucky, and outside the Corporate Limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed and that th request petitioned for therein be granted subject to the terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Trevathan offered the following motion: I move that the petition signed by Firs. Frank Ripley and others requesting the installation of a street light at 29th and Clay Streets, together with the report of the police department regarding same be received and filed. I further move that the City Manager request the Kentucky Utilities Company to make such installation. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, cBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Clark offered the following motion: The terms of office of Roy Stewart, Jr. and Joe itullens, as members of the Paducah F;unicipal Hospital Commission, expiring on December 31, 1957, I, therefore, move that the said Roy Stewart, Jr. and Joe I:ullens be reappointed as members of said Commission for further terms of three (3) years, so said Board as now constituted shall be composed of the following members: . I -°ss. Sara Smith Campbell to fill the unexpired tern of Rev. Bedford Turner as a member of the City Beautiful Board of the City of Paducah; I further move that this Board reappoint Fdrs. H. I':. Crosby and Mr. Carl Marquess for periods of one (1) year each on said Board, making the Board as now constituted as follows: Douglas Edwards whose term will expire I -lay 24, 1960 "ss. Jerome Harri Commissioner Lally offered the following motion: I move that the letter of the reappointed Air Pollutio I Idayor and the City I•lanager, reappointing Jerome Harris a member of the Air Pollution I 1 Control District of McCracken County, be received and filed. I further move that the appointment be ratified and that the term of service shall be for 4 years and that said commission as now constituted shall be composed of the following members: ' Jerome Harris whose term trill expire October 6, 1961 A. Sproul, members of the present Board of Equalization of to 1-31-195 the City of Paducah, Kentucky, dated December 5, 1957, requesting an extension of time until January 31, 1958 in order to complete the review of the reappraisal program, be received and filed. I further move that for such cause said e, -tension be granted under the terms of Q I`IS 92.440(5).
