Payor Jacobs offered motion that the readin., of the Minutes for October 5, 1957
be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approved
as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Com-nissioners Clark, Lally, IdcDride,
Trevathan and i'.ayor Jacobs (5).
Commissioner Lally offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive, file
and approve liability policy issued by the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company
to the City of Paducah coverirL work done by H. 3allace Tanner for a period of one
year from October 4, 1957. adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark,
Lally, i;cBride, Trevathan and :;ayor Jacobs (5).
Commissioner l,cBride offered motion that L. C. Mitcherson be employed as a
temporary laborer in the Refuse Division of the Department of Public Works as '1.221
per hour, effective October 16, 1957. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioner
Mark, Lally, KcBride, Trevathan and I-layor Jacobs (5).
Commissioner McBride offered motion that the resignation of Jimmie L. t'latson,
laborer in the Refuse Division of the Public lJorks Department, be received, filed and
accepted, effective Septegber 26, 1957. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Clark, Lally, ::cBride, Trevathan and I-ayor Jacobs (5).
✓ Commissioner I'cBride offered motion that Arthur Harris, 'Den Howard, Albert Lynch
and Olis Clayton Ray as temporary laborers in the Cemetery Department be and the same
are hereby terminated as of September 30, 1957. Adopted on call of the Roll, Ycas
Commissioners Clark, Lally, I:cDride, Trevathan and ::ayor Jacobs (5).
Commissioner Trevathan offered motion that the claim of Chester J. Post, Jr,,
in the amount of ,27.50 for damages done to his automobile by a refuse truck o£
the City be allowed and that the City Treasurer be and lie is hereby authorized to
issue a check of the City to said Chaoter J. Peat, Jr., in such amount after
obtair_n a full and complete release. Adopted on call of the Goll, Yeas,
