Commissioner Trevathan offered motion that the resignation of Roy Stewart Jr. as a member of the Paducah Board of Adjustment, effective at midnight on September 27, 1957, be received, filed and accepted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (4). Mayor Jacobs offered the following motion.: :finston Gholson having resigned as a member of the City of Paducah .:unicipal Hospital Commission,- I move that Roy Stewart, Jr. be appointed as a member of said Commission to serve during the unexpired term of the said tfinston Gholson, so that said Board as now constituted shall be composed of the following members: Joe '•iullens whose term expires December 31, 1957 Roy Stewart, Jr. whose term expires December 31, 1957 Clyde Peel, Jr. whose term expires December 31, 1958 I'd Tilly whose term expires December 31, 1958 Dwain Lowry whose term expires December 31, 1959 Frank Paxton whose term expires December 31, 1959 Sam Sussman whose term expires December 31, 1959 Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, Trevathan and 1.:ayor Jacobs (4). Commissioner Clark offered motion that the petition of John F. Patterson and his wife, Gladys L. Patterson, for permission to make one 3/4 -inch connection to the privately owned ;-later pipe line of the Husbands Road Community Plater Company for the purpose of furnishing water to one residence only on a lot owned by petitioners fronting 120 feet on the south side of Dixie Avenue in McCracken County, Kentucky, ::• received and filed and that the request petitioned for therein be granted subject ti the terms and conditions in said petition. Homer Holland, Administrator of tho Paducah -::c Crack an County Health Department, expressing sincere thanks for cooperation given the Health Department while the Mobile X-ray Unit was in Paducah. Insurance- Commissioner Clark offered motion that the Certificate of Insurance issued by Ohio Valley Terminix Corp Globe Indemnity Company to Ohio Valley Terminix Corporation, protecting the City of Paducah with respect to refuse receptacles to be placed on the sidewalks of the City, be received, filed and approved. Singery 4 in April, 1946, which will is of record in 11ill Book "H", page 534, McCracken County Court Clerk's office. �i I further move that the City Clerk be directed to make the proper transfer on the Cemetery Register. Green, at his �I request, be reduced from Fire Alarm Operator to Grade A. Private and also recommending that Billy C. Turner be promoted from Grade A.
