Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, �I I:cBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). Light Commissioner Clark offered motion that the petition signed by Arline Boulde c:rrison btw th E 32ndB and others, requesting a street light between 29th and 32nd Streets on Harrison, to - &ether with a report from the police department concerning the need for same, be receive) and filed and that the City Manager be authorized to request the Kentucky Utilities Company to install same. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). connec- Commissioner Clark offered motion that the petition of James Edwin Darnell outside amen for permission to make one 3/4 inch connection to a six inch water pipe line oomed by Darncll!I, Hin'rleville ` Paducah :later Works so as to furnish water to a residence located on property owned by the petitioner and fronting on the north side of Hinkleville Road in McCracken County, Kentucky, and outside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be re- ceived and filed, and that the request petitioned for therein be granted, subject to t the terms and conditions set out in said petition. Houston and others, requesting the installation of a street light in the middle of the 800 block on North 23rd Street, 'together vrit-h the report of the Police Department concerning the need for a light at this location, be received and filed and that the City :%:anger be authorized to request Sentucky Utilities Company to install said light. Commissioner Clark offered motion that Eddie Franklin '.lewton be employed ac temporary laborer in the Public Works Department at the rate of •.$1.172 per hour, effective August 13, 1957. Commissioner Clark offered motion that Erby Clark Reed be employed as temporary laborer in the Public Works Department at the rate of 31.17A per hour, effective August 13, 1957. Commissioner Clark offered motion that the executed copy of Change Order :Io. 1 of Contract Ido. 1, Sewage Pump Station's of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program, to Carrothers Construction Company, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Clark offered motion that the executed copy of Change Order No. 4 of Sections II and III of Contract No. 2, Sanitary Sewers of the Sanitary Sewerage Improve ment Program, to Eastwood Plumbing £c Heating Company, be received and filed. Deboe and Edward Lewis be employed as temporary laborers in the Refuse Division of the Department, of Public Works at •'I1.224 per hour retroactive to August 7, 1957.
