Mayor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for July 13, 1957 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Cleric be approved as written. Adopted on call of the roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). Employ Isaac Commissioner Clark offered motion that the employment of Isaac Lee ilatson, as Lee Watson Taborer Public temporary laborer in the Public I1lorks Department of the City of Paducah, be affirmed and Works Dept ratified as of July 22, 1957, and that said person be paid for such work at the rate of :j1.17j per hour. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, :cBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). Employ Donald Commissioner Clark offered motion that the employment of Donald Lee Trimble, as Lee Trimble " Laborer Public temporary laborer in the Public Works Department of the City of Paducah, be affirmed and Works Dent. ' ratified as of July 22, 1957, and that said person be paid for such work at the rate of f1.17� per hour. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). Liability policy Commissioner Clark offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receivefile J. A.House & , Jesse Sparks and approve liability policy issued by United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company to the d/b/a City Plumbing & k City of Paducah covering work done by J. A. House & Jesse Sparks d/b/a City Plumbing & Heating Co �I Heating Company for a period of one year from July 31, 1957. . Commissioner McBride offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive file the letter from Robert Flowers thanking the City for clearing the lot at 18th and Clark Streets for ude as a play ground. Commissioner McBride offered motion that the check from Paducah 'Yater :'forks in the amount of 14.80 for bad refuse accounts collected during June, 1957, be turned over to the City Treasurer to be deposited in the general fund. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and Mayor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Trevathan offered motion t hat the letter from F. W. 'foolworth Company expressing appreciation for the cooperation of the Police Department for the reporting of a fire on June 27, 1957 and for the work of the Police and Fire Department in extinguishing same and further stating the Company's desire to contribute ;1100.00 to the Police and Firemen's Pension Fund, be received and filed. Commissioner Trevathan offered motion that Lawrence Garfield Sons be employed as temporary laborer under the supervision of the Chief of the Maintenance Department the City of Paducah, Kentucky as of July 22, 1957, and that he be paid for such work at the rate of ,10212.00 per month.
