Ilayor Jacobs offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for May 25, 1957 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the City Clerk be approv= ed as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBrid d Trevathan and tayor Jacobs (5). :on—Commissioner Clark offered motion that the petition of ]avid Harold Sanders dors and his wife, Betty Jo Sanders, for permission and authority to make one 3/4 inch - .'cidman Lr.. connection to an S inch water main owned by Paducah 'dater ,,forks so as to Furnish water to one residence located upon a lot, fronting 90 feet on the West side of Friedman Lane in 'IcCracken County, Kentucky, and outside the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be received and filed and that the request in said petition be granted in accordance with the terms and conditions in said petition. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride, Trevathan and idayor Jacobs (5). Commissioner Lqlly offered motion that the petition, signed by Charles Henn and others, requesting the opening up of 30th Street from Jefferson Street to Trimble Street be received and filed; I further move that 30th Street be opened up from "adiso: Street to Trimble Street and that this improvement be placed on the work program. Emery to Dr. Pittman Orr, President of McCracken County Ledical Association relative to the use of sirens and lights on ambulances operatin-7 within the i City and traffic regulations as to ambulances within the City, be received and filed, and he further moved that the answer of Dr. Vernon D. Pettit, Secretary of T•icCracken S County Idedical Society, relative to same, be received and filed. Commissioner Clark offered motion that the letter dated May 31, 1957 from the Corps of Engineers relative to the Spring semiannual inspection of the Paducah Flood Protection Project, be received and filed.
