At a Called ',•'.eeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Cc fission
Chamber of the City ?-fall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 9;15 A.K. on January 7, 1954, i-ayor
Cherry presided and upon call of the Roll the followin answered to their nancs:

Co: iissioner Ri«;s offered the following motion: I move that the motion
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky on January 5,
1954 appointing I -r. Fred H. ':organ as City 11anarer, effective as of January 7, 1954,
be rescinded; and I further move that 1-:r. Fred 11. i:organ be appointed as City i:anager
of the City of Paducah, Iontuchy effective as of ::arch 20, 1954, and as such to be
the e::ecutive agent of the Mayor and the Board of Coumissioners in the management of
the city's affairs; to perform such other duties as may be imposed upon him under
the Statutes of the State of Kentucky and the ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
as such to receive for his services the compensation now provided for said position
by ordinance. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hannin, Hughes,
Jacobs, Riggs and iiayor Cherry (5).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
