At a Regular i;eeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Bommission

Chamber of the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on January 29, 1957, Mayor
Pro Tem Trevathan presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their
names: Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride and Mayor Pro Tem Trevathan (4), Mayor
Jacobs being absent (1)
Mayor Pro -Tem Trevathan offered motion that the reading of the Minutes for
January 22, 1957 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting as prepared by the
City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Clark, Lally, McBride and Mayor Pro Tem Trevathan (4).

Commissioner Lally offered motion that the Board of Commissioners receive, file
Insurance
and approve Certificate of Insurance issued by the Standard Accident Insurance Company
to Midwest Video Corporation covering Community Television Towers, as required by the
terms of the franchise. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark,
Lally, McBride and Mayor Pro Tem Trevathan (4).

Commissioner McBride offered motion that Bary Elwanda Jones be appointed as
Finance Dept
Clerk -typist in the Finance Department of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, at a salary of.
v120.00 per month, effective February 1, 1957, and that said person shall be removed
from such position at any time by order of this Board. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Zeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride and Mayor Pro Tem Trevathan (4).

Commissioner McBride offered the following motion: I move that an ordinance
entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, TO EXECUTE A SPECIFIC CONTRACT WITH THE STATE AGENCY OF THE OLD -AGE AND
SURVIVORS INSURANCE SYSTEM", be introduced and remain on file for public inspection
for at least one (1) week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final
passage. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Clark, Lally, McBride
and Mayor Pro Tem Trevathan (4).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
